BBC Forms / Kata
This collection includes breakdowns of white, blue, yellow, green and red belt forms. Forms, or kata, are a choreographed series of movements against an imaginary opponent. Techniques learned at each belt level are incorporated into the forms.
For Bushido Karate black belts and brown belts this is a great opportunity for you to learn how to teach. Being able to break down the forms for lower ranks is an important part of being a Sempai.
Performing kata correctly is a workout! Learning kata will make you isolate muscle groups and increase your focus and concentration. Controlled and repeated motions are a tradition in the martial arts. Go slowly and practice often!
